When Sloan Valve was ready to introduce its new Optima line of hands-free flush valves they wanted a brochure that was as stylish and refined as the new product itself. The Origin design team decided that an industrial photographer wouldn’t give us the look we were after. So we hired a great fashion photographer who treated the valve as a beautiful model, lighting and posing it in unique, and, yes, sexy, attitudes. Combined with strong copywriting and careful, understated design, the finished piece was an elegant representation of what became the best selling product in the company’s history. The Sloan Optima brochure was the winner of the prestigious Pro-Comm award from the Business Marketing Association.
